Northern Nevada Fitting Station

Non-use and misuse of child safety seats is a widespread problem in Nevada, and motor vehicle deaths remain the leading cause of unintentional injury-related deaths among children ages 14 and under. Now there is a great new program to help address this growing problem.

Northern Nevada Fitting Station

The Fitting Station is operated through a partnership with Saint Mary's, Renown Health and the Regional Emergency Medical Services Authority (REMSA).

The Fitting Station is the region's first full-time facility to offer child vehicle safety restraint education, inspection and installation.

How it does it work?

The Northern Nevada Fitting Station is staffed by nationally-certified Child Passenger Safety technicians and volunteers dedicated to providing parents and caregivers individualized tutorial instruction on the proper selection, use and installation of child restraints for their vehicles. In order to use the station clients are required to schedule an appointment. To schedule an appointment, please call 775-815-0981.

Are there any fees?
