ENROLLMENT COMING TO A CLOSE FOR REMSA’S SILVER SAVER SUBSCRIPTION PROGRAM

COST EFFECTIVE SOLUTION FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRANSPORTS

December 17, 2002 – Medical emergencies occur everyday in Washoe County yet not everyone calls for help for fear of the cost of an ambulance bill. REMSA (Regional Emergency Medical Services Authority) has a cost effective solution through the 2003 Silver Saver Subscription Program.

Silver Saver assists individuals living in Washoe County (excluding Gerlach and Incline Village) for up to ten medically necessary ambulance trips in Washoe County. The calendar year membership is good through December 31, 2003 and costs only $49 for an entire household. REMSA handles all the paperwork with Medicare and insurance agencies.
